Needless to say, Eric Clapton is 'the Man' and a class act. When we first hooked up with him he had just begun his climb back to the top. Touring with him at that time was a friend of ours, bass player "Duck Dunn". He told Eric about us and arranged for Eric to come to the store.

We met, we talked, we designed his Eric Clapton Model Guitar. He had some incredible ideas and we loaned him a couple of  Bluesmasters to use on tour while we worked on building the Eric Clapton prototype. We signed an endorsement contract that later fell through because of a disagreement with his management. So, the E.C. Model was short lived.

There were actually about 6 of these models built before production was halted and needless to say, they are priceless. If anyone knows where any of these are please contact us immediately. We would love to feature these guitars and their owners on this website.

On another note, we have a '56 Strat that Eric used on tour with Delaney and Bonnie on display here at the store as well as the original prototype of the Bluesmaster Eric Clapton Model, so when you're in Memphis, drop by!
